Taking course 5317 Resources for Digital Environments has been a valuable and enriching experience. Throughout the course, I have identified several aspects that work well for me and areas where I can strive to improve. The quality of my contributions and my collaborative efforts with peers justify a 95 out of 100 score.

Firstly, contributing to and collaborating with my core group, which consisted of Regginee C Flora Booker, Nadia Flores, and Ennija Armour, was highly beneficial. By actively participating in various activities and assignments and providing feedback to my group members, I built strong relationships and learned from their perspectives. Our collaboration in critiquing each other's rough drafts for publications allowed me to take on a leadership role and enhance my decision-making skills. I created a rubric and format for the group that was easy to follow and allowed feedback supported by critical feedforward to help improve the draft submissions. I provided how-to videos via Group Me Text Chat on how we would complete the required criteria for assessing each other's rough drafts.

Additionally, I am proud to say that I revised all assignments, such as my media project and publication outline, and reflected on the revisions in my contributions to the learning activities. This allowed me to constantly refine my understanding of the course content and improve my work. Furthermore, completing all course readings, videos, and supporting resources enabled me to understand the subject matter comprehensively.

Meeting the various course activity deadlines indicated in the calendar was another positive aspect of my involvement in this course. By sticking to the schedule, I managed my time effectively and ensured that I stayed caught up. This helped me stay on track and engage actively in the learning process.

Moreover, my active participation in the various course forums significantly contributed to my and my colleagues' learning. I posted my thoughts and insights promptly, allowing others to respond and provide further input. I consistently supported my ideas with research and cited them using APA, enabling me to demonstrate scope and depth of thinking.

One area where I recognize I need to improve is time management, especially when handling group assignments. Throughout this course, I met all the established deadlines; however, I faced significant challenges while trying to complete the rough draft of our group-assessed publication. This struggle became even more pronounced when I attempted to gather peer feedback and align our busy schedules, which complicated the task further.

I realized that I had difficulty allocating sufficient time to each component of the group assignment, causing me to feel rushed and a bit overwhelmed. Although I ultimately managed to submit the draft on time, I regretted not having the opportunity to turn it in much earlier, even though I did receive an A. Turning it in earlier could have led to less stress and feeling more confident with a polished final product and more significant input from my teammates. I have great appreciation for my group, and I am confident in the strength of my final publication thanks to their invaluable input and feedback.

To address this issue in the future, I plan to develop a more structured schedule that clearly outlines specific time blocks for each course activity and group task. Setting aside dedicated time for collaboration, drafting, and incorporating feedback, I aim to enhance my overall efficiency and improve my contributions to group projects.

Additionally, I need to learn how to navigate the Teams app. This was the first course I used Teams for communication, and I needed to familiarize myself with its functions, which led to me joining a few collaborative conversations late. I believe I have a good understanding of it now!

Course 5317 has been my favorite so far. It allowed me to collaborate with a diverse group and engage in meaningful discussions. The course content was enriching, and the flexibility allowed me to complete assignments without feeling overwhelmed or stressed about missing online meetings when I had other responsibilities. The course content was well-organized and easy to understand. I am grateful for the experience and look forward to applying ongoing discussions and analyses of existing digital learning resources to understand and evaluate their practicality and value for educational use in my future endeavors.
